The finished Cat Beds have been delivered to the Shelter

hey every one, I said that I would make some catbeds for our local SPCA, but was approached by another cat shelter, so I made 5 beds for this shelter:
http://www.pickofthelitter.ca/ which still have to be delivered and I will still make at least 5 more for the SPCA.
I thought i would put the idea out there hoping some one else who can crotchet or knit will copy me.
Thanks and thank you to all of you out there helping strays this winter

There are tons of free patterns online on how to make them, they seem simple enough
update: I hope I am allowed to show these three links to the free patterns online

These two guys are our latest family memebers, the first one CatRock aka Rocky, just got neutered, the vet believes he is about a year to a year and a half old.. He was a stray that I was feeding for about a month, then just before one of our very fist snow storms, he ran through the open basement window into the house and well.. he's been home ever since ;)

The smaller orange kitty Garfield, is our other new kitty, I adopted him from a local site ( kijiji ) he was being given away for almost 3 months and no one was taking him, he is deaf and has a few... special needs. But he is the funniest, most loving cat ever, I still dont' know why his previous owner didn't want him. Well he is home for good, as proof, our other two cats, are 17 and 9 years old and they have always been with us, through every move, you just don't leave family behind when you move ;)

What a great idea! I crochet, but I haven't had time to since I started my semester. Hopefully over vacation I will be able to, though. This is a great cause. :)

I made the crochet beds a while ago. http://salihan.com/2008/04/crochet-cat-beds-nightmare/

But I didn't end up keeping them for my cats. I gave them to the RSPCA a couple of months later. :)

P.S. Your ginger cat looks like my Olly!

I love what you did with the fun fur--very cute! Now those shelter cats can snooze in style. :D Thanks for promoting my patterns and Cuddles for Kitties project. The world could use more people like you. :)
